If yes, what would your recommended specs be for a laptop?

                | Al48 | Posted - 18/06/2009 : 18:30:44 Rereading my recent post, I guess the AJA Io Express technically is an ExpressCard device. I guess I was getting at something being a little more streamlined as an i/o device rather than having a separate box that requires 12v power.

                | Al48 | Posted - 18/06/2009 : 18:27:04 Thanks again, Roberto! Good to know it's not that far around the corner. Man, an ExpressCard HD-SDI i/o device would be really nice to see from Blackmagic or Aja.

                | roberto.castellano | Posted - 18/06/2009 : 18:20:57 yes we already planned to support Aja IO express.

 laptop specs: SD or HD?
 SD...Acer 8930 Quadcore offers similar/better Quattrus/Altitude performance in SD.
HD...to get basic Altitude/VelocityHD performance... you have to wait for a Corei7 for laptops (October)
