For example, I know you specify RAID Level 6.

But there are more detailed settings in the BIOS, such as:
 (following are BIOS defaults)

 Stripe Size: 64kb
 Sector Size: 512k
 Write Cache: Write Back
 Read Cache: Read Ahead

 Thoughts on these default settings?

 Thanks in advance.

 Cheers,

 Boyd

 Stripe Size: 64kb or 256Kb
 Sector Size: 512k
 Write Cache: Write Back
 Read Cache: Read Ahead

I strongly suggest to create more volumes in order to avoid to create volumes greater than 2TB. Also if Windows XP works very well with volumes greater than 2TB, we got a lot of critical troubles using these volumes in a LAN, some customers got unusual data loss.
