I am trying out IVSEdits to see if it is the way I want to go. I am currently a Velocity user for a long time. Have a few questions about IVS.

1. Can't seem to get multicam to work. It's always grayed out no matter what I try. Thought it would operate like Velocity but doesn't seem to. Any body know the correct procedure.

2. When applying a perspective DVE the preview window is just black. Seems to work fine for the other functions. Am I doing some thing wrong?

Would also appreciate any thoughts as to major differences in operation between IVS and Velocity.

Much thanks for your help.

When is multicam expected to be active and how many clips will it be able to displayed?

Thanks

Larru

Larry

1)Multicam is not yet active. It is expected to work as Velocity Multicam window.
2)The DVE output is black when the type of DVE Engine installed is not supported. Your system could support only CPU DVE engine. Please note that CPU engine quality is too much far from other GPU DVE engines or Velocity DVE. GPU DVE engine quality is much better than Velocity DVEs.
To select the CPU Engine you have to reinstall the software or open the ivsEdits Folder and run ivsEditsAdvancedSettings.exe: please uncheck Enable GPU
