ivsEdits 2.0 is ready and shipping now! It introduces new modes for Stereoscopic 3D (Both Side by Side and 3D Tile), an advanced Trim Window, and several new editing tools! Here is the list, but as usual, this is only the beginning, lots of new things coming soon :-) users don't have to wait for updates until the next major release ;-)
ivsEdits 2.1 New Features and improvements:
- New Effect: Color Balance (includes Auto White Balance)
- New Feature: Markers can be turned in Chapters. Chapters can be exported in a TXT file in SMPTE or DVD Styler Format, helping to add chapters in NeroVideo 12, DVD Workshop, DVD Styler and other DVD/BD Authoring Software
- New Feature: The collection window features now the search box! You can type names, file extensions, and voilà !
- New Feature: ivsRecode and ivsEdits collection windows support now a virtually unlimited number of clips per time
- New Feature: Timeline IN/OUT shows range duration close to the IN/OUT fields
- New Feature: Pressing Shift or Control while dragging clips from repository to timeline, allows to add Video or Audio clips only (the same of the Trim window)
- GUI Mod: Buffer Bar has been moved on the left replacing the JOG slider to provide better visibility on smaller monitors
- GUI Mod: Middle Mouse button Zooms without stopping timeline playback, with or without CTRL use (zoom from timeline cursor position or zoom from mouse pointer)
- GUI: User interface is now available in both English and Italian languages
- Stereo 3D: New 3D modes are are available, 3D Side By Side and 3D Tile modes
- Trim Window can show feedback on VGA or VGA+Decklink. If the system has more than one Decklink output, it is possible to map trim window and Timeline outputs on different devices!
- Repository/Timeline/Effects Editor: added a new control to navigate between tabs when the tab number is high.
- Export: Aspect Ratio management has been optimized in exporting settings. Warning! All presets have been replaced. Previous presets are not compatible with new managment mode.
- Timeline: New Apply Transitions Menu Item has been added. No more A/B Roll single track limits!
- Timeline: New "Swap Selected Clips" on V1 &V2 Tracks Menu Item has been added. No more A/B Roll single track limits!
- Timeline: The Razor Tool has been renewed, now it works in solo mode (the preview will show the selected clip only)
- Timeline: Drag and Drop From Repository has been improved a lot to avoid clip collisions and to speed up editing.
- Timeline: Improved Audio Scrub.
- Timeline: Fixed an occasional problem using Reverse+Slow Motion.
- Effects: Glow effect is now a GPU effect. Better quality and more power!
- Effects: New 3D Transitions. 3D Flyaway group has been added with 29 new transitions!
- Project Management: Added Option to Copy a Project without copy the source media. A great add on for OFF-Line projects.
- Project Management: Now it is possible to collect multiple Timelines and/or Repositories. A great add on for OFF-Line projects.
- Scrollbar button doesn't work properly with some zoom levels: it has been fixed
- Keyframer: Modified Keyframe selection mode. Now, when creating more handles in sequence, the last one remains selected.
- Keyframer: some fixes with refresh of Keyframes values during Playback if "Buffering" is set to "on".
- Transitions editor: fixed an occasional bug. Playing a transition until the last frame, the transition is changed in a cross dissolve: Fixed
- Effects: New 3D Transitions. 3D Flyaway group has been added with 29 new transitions
- Timeline New shortcut: Clip Info - C
- Timeline New shortcut: Find Target - ALT+T
- Timeline New shortcut: Open with External App - CTRL+SHIFT+C
- Timeline New shortcut: Timeline Info/Duration - CTRL+T
- Timeline New shortcut: GO TO - CTRL+G
- Timeline New shortcut: Open Shortcuts List Window - F6
- Keyframer New shortcut: To Move Playhead on handles - Page Up/Down
- Keyframer New shortcut: To Move Playhead on first/last Handle - Home/End
- Keyframer New shortcut: To Move Playhead Frame by Frame - Left/Right Arrows
- Keyframer New shortcut: Fit All button - Z
- Engine: Some relevant fixes on GPU management changing Resolution in a Project
- Wave-Vector Window: it now saves its settings in the registry
- ivsCapture 3280: It supports Timecode typing without ::::. The software adds them for you.
- ivsOnAir 7.7 (the bundled, broadcast playout): Added Find Path in Trimmer.
